Favicons are one of the elements that browsers always download and store on the computer and you need to get the browser to delete them and get an updated favicon.

Have you tried clearing your cache or doing a hard refresh? In browsers, such as firefox it’s holding down Ctrl + r or Ctrl + f5 and it will do a delete of the cache for the specific website.

Hi, I can’t seem to get to work on our site. I have copied the code and pasted it into Dreamweaver and copied the favicon.ico file on to the server. It works on the favicon.cc site but not on ours. Do you think it has anything to do with wibyia blocking it?

Unfortunately I’m not familiar with Microsoft expression Web, I wish I could be of help to get the icon on the website. Have you tried doing a search for adding favicon to expression websites?

How do you implement this in Microsoft Expression Web? Sorry, I know very little about programming but this post is very helpful. I created an icon. What would the code look like and where would I put it?
