I have been using Advanced Windows Care since it first came out and have been very pleased with IO Bits creation. I can’t say enough about this program, it’s simple to use, efficient, and very capable of taking on the role of multiple programs combined together. It is the #1 most popular system utility on download.com. Here’s the a direct quote from IO Bit website.

Advanced Windows Care may not be the best spyware search and defend program, it’s not the best temporary file clean up (see lesson one for this), and it is not the best computer optimizing program out there, at least not yet. But what it is the best at, is being able run a combination of 6 to 10 programs all in one little program. It does an over the top clean up, repair, protect, and optimize for your computer in 2 to 3 minutes time. Your other option is to download the best programs, and spend the entire day running each program one at a time. So I think 2 or 3 minutes of time is very worth the time you save by running this powerhouse software.

My recommendations for using this, is to run it when you first log on to your computer, or when you are about to log off. I can guarantee that this program will keep the computer geeks away for a long time, since it takes care of, and prevents, several problems that computer tech heads have to come out and fix all the time. Did I mention it has a very high chance of stopping most computer freezes, hanging issues, and blue screens?

Well enough of an introduction, lets get down to the installation process

1. Follow this link to download.com to download Windows Advanced Care
2. Press Download Now and save it on your computer and then proceed to open it
3. Press next on the first screen, Click I accept the agreement, then click next
4. Click next on the information page that appears
5. Click next on select destination location, unless you want to change it to something else.
6. Then click next on the Select start menu folder, and next on select additional task
7. Un-check the two boxes on this screen, do not install yahoo toolbar and do not make it your default search engine
8. Click next when are done un-checking these two boxes, then click install
9. Click next on the information page, and then finish

Using the Program - When you first install it, select your preferred language and press ok

1. System back up - you should only get this prompt once, and I recommend making a backup. You can always press no and continue. Like I said I have not run into any problems using this program.

2. You will be presented with a screen that looks like this

3. I recommend the very first thing to do is click options in the top right corner and then click update. Click next on the auto update screen, and then start download of any new updates. Press exit when done

4. On the lower part of the screen click scan and wait for it to finish scanning. The first time always takes the longest.

5. Click Repair when it is done scanning. Wait for it to finish then click close.

That’s all there is to it.

Now make sure to run this once a day if you can, or if your busy, just run it at least once a week.
