This tip is only for people with legit websites, so if your website is Spam and lots of Ads, please do not submit your website or use this tactic. It will be indexed but it’s lame to submit to these places with junk websites.
So you have a new website, webpage, sub-domain, etc. and you want it searched and indexed on Google in 30 minutes to an hour or less. Also guaranteed listing in MSN, Yahoo, and other service engines, at least once they update. MSN and Yahoo are not the fastest at updating, Yahoo is the slowest one I have found.
Here’s how, and feel free to test it on your website if you don’t believe me. Want proof this works? Search the link to this article in a search engine, 40 minutes after it was posted it was in Google. I posted a link to the screenshot I took to show how fast Google will index a website.
Goto SocialMarker.com and register to all the social networking and bookmarking websites, I find the easiest way to do this it to press submit leaving the fields blank. The websites will come up and you just setup your account to each website and once finished with a website, just click next at the top right. I prefer to use the same user name and password for each once, so if I need to go back through and log in again I don’t have to be guessing at the login and password I used. I do not recommend signing up to Fark or Slashdot for this process. Once you have finished, takes about 10 to 15 minutes, then submit your website / webpage to SocialMarker.
Each bookmark, that is public, will be index by search engines, places like Digg, Mister Wong, Tagaza, etc, have a very high crawl speed, and as a result your website will be indexed almost instantly.
So my recommendations are to come up with a good description about your website, your popular tags, and do the submission process for Socialmarker. Make sure your profile is shared via public, and not private. I have seen some people go through this process and forget to make their profile public, which results in search engines not crawling your submissions.
Note: Only submit your website to places that allow you to submit your website, Slashdot does not allow you to submit your own website and Fark is only for News Submissions. Submit to websites that are relevant to your category. Example: If your website is about Food do not submit to websites about Internet Marketing.
I do this process every time I write an article that I consider to be worth reading and I want to start getting traffic to it via search engines. My blog entires will show up in a few minutes after going through this process, takes about 5 minutes to do it and it is well worth it. Even if you do not believe in traffic from social media websites, it still is a viable way to get your blog indexed without having to spend time submitting to search engines, and hoping that your website shows up in them.
