Well, that’s what the recent scientific findings suggest. For a long time it was thought that in order to live a long time you had to have good genes, and to have not developed some type of age related illness, such as High Blood Pressure, Heart Issues, Mental illnesses, etc.
But now in recent studies they have finally came to the conclusion that there may be more to the puzzle of living a long and healthy life. Gee imagine that….. who would’ve guessed that there was more to it than just genes. I could’ve told them that, saved them some time that they could’ve spent elsewhere, such as developing a cure for something important.
I firmly believe that the body is an amazing machine and a thing of beauty. It has the uncanny ability to repair, recycle, and reuse nearly every part of the body, right down to the smallest atoms and molecules. Now to me, long age is as simple as avoiding things that hamper the organ that is chiefly responsible for all this to happen, which is the liver. Add in care for the organ that brings it all together and allows the building blocks of life to pump throughout the body, which is the heart, and you are all set for the long healthy life.
I am a person of insatiable curiosity that keeps me constantly active, learning, and living. To me, there is so many things I want to experience and do, and I figure I will have to live, at least, for 200 years to experience most of things I want to do. So I have spent several months and years, learning how to live a long healthy life. Now I am not a health food junkie, and nor do I have an unlimited budget for massages and various other treatments. I also do not want to be one of the health nuts laying in a hospital bed at 80 dieing of nothing.
So to those who want to follow a path of longevity, I say to you, get educated!! Now is a great time to start.
Laughter, it’s good anti-aging medicine.
